In a recent legal letter, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has warned Unoma Akpabio, the wife of Senate President Godswill Akpabio, to refrain from interfering in her allegations against her husband concerning sexual harassment and intimidation.
The disagreement between Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan and Senator Akpabio started when she declined to take a new seat during a Senate session, citing parliamentary rules. This dispute intensified after Akpoti-Uduaghan accused the Senate President on Arise News of blocking her motions, damaging her reputation, and harassing her following her rejection of his advances.
In response, Mrs. Akpabio held a press conference in Abuja where she rejected these claims, stating that their families have had a friendly relationship for many years, even before Akpoti-Uduaghan’s marriage. She characterized the accusations as unfounded.
