Vice Admiral (Rtd) Ibok Ete Ekwe Ibas, the Administrator of Rivers State, reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that the voices of all Rivers people are heard in shaping the future of their state.
He made this statement during a meeting with Heads of Youth Organizations and stakeholders, led by Comrade Nwisabari Bani, the Rivers State Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), on Saturday at the Government House in Port Harcourt.

Ibas emphasized the importance of inclusivity, stating that his administration will uphold the law and give everyone, regardless of their political views, a say in the decisions that affect their lives. In his address, Ibas also called upon the youth of Rivers State to get involved in the policies and processes set forth by his administration. He underscored the need for their engagement in the restoration of democratic institutions and the promotion of lasting peace in the region.
