The senator Representing the Federal Capital Territory Ireti Kingibe has expressed her support for the Labour Party’s caretaker committee led by Senator Nenadi Usman. She welcomed the integration of the Obidient movement into the Labour Party, emphasizing its importance for the party’s future.
In a recent statement, Senator Kingibe commended the Supreme Court for its ruling that highlights internal democracy and the independence of political parties. She described this decision as an affirmation of the rule of law and a boost for democratic values, especially during a crucial time in the party’s evolution.
“This judgment gives the Labour Party a great opportunity to come together under strong leadership,” Senator Kingibe stated. “I believe that, with Senator Usman at the helm, the Labour Party has a bright future ahead.
