Uyo, Akwa Ibom State —
More than 40 entertainers are set to dazzle audiences at the Cultural Expo tomorrow, one of the key highlights of the ongoing Niger Delta Sports Festival in Uyo.
The Expo, which promises a vibrant mix of music, comedy, dance, and culinary delights, will feature emerging talents from the nine mandate states of the Niger Delta, creating a festive atmosphere that extends beyond the competition venues.
Speaking ahead of the event, renowned entertainment impresario Edi Lawani described the Cultural Expo as a community engagement platform designed to give residents, visitors, and festival participants a moment to relax and connect.
“We’re bringing over 40 artistes to entertain and inspire, creating an atmosphere where sports, culture, and social interaction meet,” Lawani said. “It’s a chance for everyone in Uyo to enjoy the spirit of the festival, make new friends, and explore potential business opportunities.”
Established acts like comedian Delstalker and singer Humble Smith will headline the event, offering not only entertainment but also mentorship and inspiration to the upcoming artistes.
The Cultural Expo is open to the public and expected to draw large crowds as Uyo continues to host this multi-sport and cultural celebration.
