The youth wing of the Pan Delta Forum (PANDEF) has made headlines as they issue a 48-hour ultimatum to Minister Nyesom Wike demanding the retraction of his disparaging remarks towards the Ijaw nation and PANDEF leaders.
According to Doben Donyegha, the national president of PANDEF Youths, Wike’s comments were not only “embarrassing” but also “annoying,” especially given that these remarks followed closely on the heels of a meeting between PANDEF’s delegation and President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

In a strong stance reflective of the mood within PANDEF Youths, Donyegha urged President Tinubu to consider sacking Wike from his cabinet, emphasizing that the youth wing has lost confidence in his leadership.
Moreover, PANDEF Youths have called upon the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) to conduct an investigation into allegations surrounding Wike’s involvement in land-grabbing activities in the Federal Capital Territory. This demand underscores the urgency behind the PANDEF Youths – Wike ultimatum, as they seek accountability from government officials.
As the deadline looms, all eyes will be on how Wike responds to this ultimatum and whether the CCB will take action concerning the allegations raised by PANDEF Youths.
