Deeone, a popular Big Brother Naija reality star, revealed that he used his recent appearance on the ‘Honest Bunch’ podcast with Nedu Wazobia as a tactic to expose VeryDarkMan. He admitted to planning the podcast appearance without Nedu’s knowledge during an interview on TVC’s ‘Breakfast Show.’
While on the Honest Bunch podcast, Deeone accused VeryDarkMan of being sexually involved with men. In response, VeryDarkMan released a controversial Instagram video accusing Nedu of exploiting emerging entertainers for personal gain and threatened to reveal the names of those Nedu allegedly slept with in the industry. This controversy ultimately led to Nedu’s dismissal from the show.

Expressing sorrow over Nedu’s job loss, Deeone remarked, “I orchestrated a scheme involving VDM with Nedu as my unwitting accomplice. I planned this entirely on my own, conscious that if I had publicized it on social media, I would have been branded as someone seeking attention. I needed a platform for my intentions. For months, I meticulously analyzed VeryDarkMan to gauge whether he was sincere or simply exploiting others. While he occasionally speaks the truth, he often tends to draw conclusions prematurely.”
Deeone expressed, “Nedu is understandably shocked; he would never have consented if he had been informed, given his friendship with VeryDarkMan. I truly didn’t foresee Nedu losing his job, and I feel genuinely regretful about that. I used Nedu as a strategy to lure VeryDarkMan, and it turned out to be remarkably effective.”
