
President Bola Tinubu expressed strong appreciation to the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) for their unanimous support of the four Tax Reform Bills currently before the National Assembly.
In a statement from his spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu praised the governors for their outstanding leadership and their dedication to promoting national unity by overcoming regional, ethnic, and political divides.
He emphasized that the recent consultations between the NGF and the Presidential Committee on Tax and Fiscal Policy exemplify effective collaboration between the Federal and State governments.
The President also recognized NGF Chairman and Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq for his crucial role in garnering support for the tax reform bills, which are poised to invigorate the national economy and enhance Nigeria’s investment climate.
